The ACBP (human) ELISA Kit (Prod. No. AG-45B-0019) is a sensitive and robust sandwich ELISA for specific quantitative determination of human ACBP in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. Obese patients exhibit elevated plasma levels of ACBP, while a reduction in ACBP plasma concentration is observed in these patients after a substantial weight loss. ACBP might act as a “Hunger Factor” useful for the prevention or treatment of obesity and metabolic syndrome diseases.
